This verse tells us that if we are lazy and do not work hard, we will be poor. However, if we are diligent and work hard, we will be rich. Diligence is characterized by steady, earnest, and energetic effort. It means that we are careful and intentional about our actions and that we bring our best energy to our work. When we are diligent, we are not just going through the motions. We are not just trying to get by. We are putting our heart and soul into our work and we are doing our best to make a difference. Diligence is important because it allows us to create wealth and to bless others. When we are diligent, we are able to provide for our families and to help those in need. We are also able to make a positive impact on our communities and the world. Let us all strive to be diligent in our work. Let us put our heart and soul into everything we do and let us make a difference in the world.
