Dream Job Ready Episode 07: Mark Wheeler (Head of YouTube & Large Customer Marketing, Google)
Mark Wheeler is a brand and marketing director with more than 20 years of experience to his name - working across regional and global roles both in the UK, where he’s from, and in Australia, where he lives now.
Mark started his career in advertising, working for multiple London agencies during his 20s. He went on to work with Diageo, where he helped launch Captain Morgan Spiced Rum around the world from 2008 to 2012. He moved to Australia in 2013 and took a job with McDonald's, where he'd spend 5 years digitally transforming the QSR's Australia and New Zealand business. Today, he's locked into a dream job he loves - managing brand strategies and content marketing for YouTube and Google.
If Google is a Dream Job destination for you, you’re going to want to hear what Mark thinks makes Google’s people unique and how someone can get a job there and go on to be successful. He loves his role and speaks very strongly about the company’s mission and culture.
