He served two terms as Chair of The Innovation Investment Committee in the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science in Australia since 2016, which governs the VC sector in Australia. He has been a member of several government and private investment boards that have invested or overseen the investment of billions of dollars into the commercialization of Australian research.
