• 43 minBeer and Biscuits with Brahmari Brewing Brahmari Brewing doesn't currently have any bees but their name is from the Sanskrit term for "like a bee." Brahmari specifically refers to a black Indian bee and is the Hindu goddess of bees. Neat. Despite their lack of an apiary, Beekeeper Arthur Jefferson shared the brewery does have a way of attracting bees. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Arthur and Head Brewer Brian Quade joined us on the show this week to talk about their awesome Asheville brewery. Brahmari brews batch of beer with a bunch of Bo Berry Biscuits, gets busted by Bojangles Yep, you read that right. Probably. We get the full scoop on Brahmari's It's Biscuit Time blueberry sour. If you've had it once you're lucky, this one won't be back, at least not under the same name. As we sip some tasty Brahmari brews we chat about the great beer scene in Asheville, NC and get Arthur and Brian's picks on where to go after we visit Brahmari.
