Afshar is the author of "The Pursuit of Social Business Excellence," which was published in September 2012. He contributes technology, business and leadership articles to the Huffington Post, INC Magazine, ZDNet and other publications. Vala hosts a weekly video show called “DisrupTV,” inviting Fortune 1000 business executives, startup founders, venture capitalists and tech and media personalities, covering business, technology and leadership topics. Vala is a Twitter celebrity with more than 520,000 followers.
